Holding of the International Nowruz celebration with the presence of the political and the cultural figures of Pakistan and the ambassadors living in Islamabad on March 23, 2024 at the embassy premises. In this ceremony, a group of the political and the cultural figures, the leaders of the political parties, the military officials, the university professors, the senior journalists of Pakistan as well as the ambassadors and the diplomats living in Islamabad were present.Dr. Amiri Moghadam, ambassador of of I.R Iran to Pakistan, in his speech, said that Nowruz was the most ancient ritual of friendship, kindness and peaceful coexistence. The charge d'affaires of the embassy of Tajikistan in Pakistan also lauded the Iranian Embassy for holding the ceremony of International Nowruz Day and said: We were all proud to hold the celebration. Ms. Dr. Yasmin, head of the Persian language department of NUML University, also elaborated the philosophy of Nowruz in her speech. Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, Chairman of the Pakistan Senate Defense Committee, said: Nowruz and Iqbal are the common heritage of the two brotherly and neighboring countries of Iran and Pakistan
