Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in a telephone conversation with his Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari said that domination-seeking countries are striving to sow seeds of discord between the two countries.
President Raisi congratulated the reelection of Zardari as president of the Republic of Pakistan and expressed hope that the bilateral relations between the two countries will be further expanded for securing the benefits of the two nations.
Iran and Pakistan have a lot of potentials and capabilities to expand interactions, he said, adding that the Islamic Republic of Iran hopes those potentials will be employed in the process of expanding ties.
Raisi also hailed the faith and bravery of the youth of the Islamic Ummah (community) in rejecting various seditions, including ISIL sedition, emphasizing that the development of relations between the two countries is not welcome by the domination-seeking powers.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Raisi pointed to the continuation of crimes and genocides of the Zionist regime against Palestinians in Gaza and noted that freedom-seeking and independent countries should cooperate jointly to stop the crimes of this child-killing regime.
