President Raisi congratulates new Pakistani PM- PM Sharif invites President Raisi to visit Pakistan

Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi in a message on Thursday congratulated Shehbaz Sharif on his appointment as the new Prime Minister of Pakistan.

In his congratulatory message, President Raisi expressed hope that the path ahead would lead cooperation between the two countries to reach desirable level.

The Islamic Republic of Iran is always ready to improve all-inclusive cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, including in the new term.

 

As well as, Shehbaz Sharif thanked President Raisi for his message last week congratulating his election as Prime Minister of Pakistan, Pakistan’s embassy in Tehran wrote in a tweet.

The tweet added that Sharif hoped that he and President Raisi would cooperate to enhance close ties between Iran and Pakistan.

Sharif also officially invited Raisi to pay a visit to Pakistan, according to the tweet.
