According to the announcement of the Ministry of Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran, foreign nationals intending to participate in the Arbaeen ceremony should be informed that:
According to the agreements made with the esteemed government of Iraq;
The itinerary of the travel of foreign nationals, whether residents or non-residents, from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran to participate in the Arbaeen ceremony will be as follows:
- - Foreign nationals in transit (eastern countries of Iran, including Pakistan, Afghanistan and India) will only be allowed to travel through the border of Chadaba, this group of visitors can travel by buses of Pakistan, subject to the previously notified considerations.
- - All foreign visitors, whether resident or in transit, will be allowed to return from the previous exit border.
Travelers are requested to regard this notice and extend necessary cooperation to the authorities and plan their travel afrom the announced routes.
