In a message, Iran's Foreign Minister, Hossein Amirabdollahian, congratulated Muhammad Ishaq Dar on his appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The text of the top Iranian diplomat's  message to his Pakistani counterpart is as follows:

 

Dear Brother Muhammad Ishaq Dar,

Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan,

 Greetings,

 I sincerely congratulate you on your deserving appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of our friendly and neighboring country, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

I am confident that, in light of the will of the political leaders of the two countries and the efforts of the diplomatic institutions of Iran and Pakistan, we will witness the continuation of close cooperation in various bilateral and multilateral fields.

 I take this opportunity to wish you health, success, and pride for the government and the nation of Pakistan.
